Diamond
Something so small
Something so special
Binds two lovers forever
It can be a princess cut,
Or maybe a marquise
As long as it’s never a Cubic zirconium
How can such a big symbolism
Be in such a small jewel
A promise of a life time
Is not only beautiful
But also meaningful
A sparkling piece
Complicated by nature
With materialistic value to some
For others is exploitation and genocide
Diamonds, a girls best friend…
And mens worst enemy

Awesome, you totally took the advice given to you and created a masterpiece. It so crazy all that's put behind making a diamond and what it stands for for people (some very different than other). You capture this in your poem. BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN!!
